Meet our Director, HYO

캬라멜호텔의 디렉터 효는 삶의 컬렉터, 모험가라고 불립니다. 

10년전 처음 런던에 예술과 디자인을 공부하러 한국을 떠나, 이후 유럽의 자유로움과 아름다움에 반해 런던 그리고 베를린에 살다가 지금은 이탈리아 피렌체를 베이스로 전세계 곳곳을 여행하며 흥미로운 이야기들이 담겨있는 오래되고 소중한 오브제를 통해 과거의 삶, 문화, 예술을 현재와 연결하고 소개합니다.

디렉터의 상상 속 캬라멜호텔을 꿈꾸며 컬렉한 오브제들과 스토리텔링을 통해 라이프 스타일을 공유하는 공간을 만들어가는 프로젝트입니다. 

"뉴스 러브 레터" - 디렉터의 긴 여정동안 기록한 그림, 사진, 솔직한 글을 담아 구독자분들에게 공유하는 사이드 프로젝트도 진행중입니다. 

The director of Caramel Hotel - Hyo is referred to as a life collector and adventurer.  

10 years ago, she left Korea to study art and design in London, falling in love with the beauty of Europe. Having lived in London and Berlin, she is now based in Florence, traveling the world and sharing interesting stories through cherished and aged objects that connect past life, culture, and art with the present.

Dreaming of the imagined Caramel Hotel within the director's mind,  involves curating objects and storytelling to create a space for sharing lifestyle.

 A side project titled "News Love Letter" is also underway, where the director writes honest letters sharing the long journey with subscribers.
